Well, you pack up your car and drive across Canada of course.
That's the whole car!!
I was cleaning up some files when I came across these. Bonnie and Quinn haven't even seen these. This was my road trip from Manitoba to Alberta and back to launch the first Lucky Dog biscuits - 200 gram hand-topped little morsels of goodness.
June 2005
Here's a little photo diary of the trip.
After the first three hours, I finally get to Saskatchewan.
Somewhere in Alberta - there's always a Timmy's.
No - not Saskatchewan. This is Alberta. Flat, flat Alberta.
Ah - dowtown Calgary.
What's a Canadian road trip without a large Easter Egg?? Seriously, how could you not stop. The gold blinds you from the road.
Hey Kal, this one's for you! Saskatoon and homeward bound.
Also, Happy Birthday Kal. Hope you have a birthday worthy day full of all of your favourite things.
Now thankfully, we have delivery trucks to send our products all over the country. Hmmm, I wonder if this technique would work in the US? A little shopping sales trip might be in order. I can only imagine the questions at the border. I would, of course, have to get a picture with Babe and Paul Bunyan. What's a road trip without a big blue ox?

Aw... thanks MAVIS! I love that Saskatoon shot.

I love these! It reminds me of "where in the world is Waldo". You should do a whole series..."Where in the world is Lucky Dog Biscuits?" :0)

I think you should start in Grand Forks. They have a neat little local (I think it's local... not 100% sure) pet store called Pets R' Inn. While I love Petco, I love smaller pet stores too. There doesn't seem to be any "natural" items. Well okay, in Petco there was but I had to return them, because hiding in the jumble of ingredients was chicken (Koda is SEVERELY allergic to chicken).
What did this lesson teach me? Don't get Koda any treats until we're back home in Winnipeg and we can buy Lucky Dog!
