MAHJONG!! "This is Mahjong.  He is a french bulldog and Fong is his master.  Fong saved and adopted him from a family whose personality clashed with his slightly hyper one.  His happiest day was when he came home with Fong.  He loves to run around with Fong and play catch with his doggy pals sometimes but most of the time he just like to hang out and just chill.  He feels that his best feature is his round head and flat face because he can look through a glass door without squashing his face.  Sometimes he forgets his weight and tries to jump into the laps of people he likes (almost knocked over Fong once).  This is a picture of Mahjong after a nice fun day in the sun with his best friend, Fong.  Life is gooooood. "

"This is a picture of my dog Rusty and I on my wedding day.  I wanted to have pictures with Rusty when I had my dress on but Rusty is a farm dog and was a bit too muddy that day.  I think that he approves of my husband if the grin on his face is any indication.  Rusty is a huge fan of Lucky Dog treats and cannot control himself around them. Happy Friday Everyone! Fabulous weather, fabulous day, good company..it's shaping up to be a great one here at LDHQ in BC. (Okay, I'm lying about the weather but the rest of it is true which makes up for the weather today). We take possession of our Lucky Dog family headquarters here today and we're super excited! It's very close to all of our family (read: handy baby/dog sitters) out here cause we're no dummies  and that's cool.

Debra from Winnipeg Manitoba, owned by Josko (Week 29 of the Lucky Dog Biscuit photo contest) sent us this picture. It's a scrapbook page for Josko's Lucky Dog day. SUPER CUTE how Josko seems to be checking out that crazy beagle in computer!

Thank you very much Debra for sending this in. We love the feed back, love the pictures and love hearing from our peeps and their pups.

Hey Jennifer - Those pictures posted earlier this week were from my (Bonnie's) trip to Mexico with my family, extended family and friends. Mavis is still in China for another month and a half. Now pictures of THAT trip are CRAZY! It's amazing what they consider food! You can check them out on her travel blog here.

Daisy Mae Strange!!
" Daisy Mae is a terrier-cross we adopted from the Pet Rescue Centre in
Winnipeg when she was two years old.  She is now four years old, and has
brought us untold fun.  Daisy has so much character...when she wants to be a
lap-dog, we call her our little "Cuddle-bug"; when she greets her "dad" when
he gets home from work, we call her "the White Tornado" (because she spins
in circles); when she is acting silly, we call her "Crazy Daisy"; and when
she is full of pent-up energy, we call her the "Holy Terrier" - but most of
all, her name spells LOVE!  Daisy is addicted to "Lucky Dog Biscuits"
(especially the Peanut Butter and Saskatoon ones), and has been known to
shamelessly steal a raw biscuit, made from your frozen dough, right off the
cookie sheet!  Daisy is a study in contrasts - she is afraid of the mop, but
doesn't hesitate to charge a 300 pound buck!  She hates baths, but will jump
in any other body of water available.  She especially loves camping, napping
with her "parents", playing hide and seek, barking at squirrels and
airplanes, and "helping" her "mom" in the garden.  Daisy is our 25 pound
"fur-baby" bundle of joy!"

We HEARD that your mom has a mean garden..now we know why! We hear you on the pent up energy. When our house horses get like that, they take off to the yard  and they tear around in a circle over and over super fast barking like crazy. We call it a case of the "zoomies"!

Bodhi and Kali DeLuca!!!  I can't tell you toooo much about these two except that they belong to one of the owners of Tiber River Naturals ...a be-utiful nail and body bar located in Winterpeg Manitoba. If you're in Winnipeg, check them out, they're right on Acadamy. If not you can still check them out on their Tiber River blog (if you are at all in business or have a business or work at a business, this post is a very good reminder). Their body butters, specifically the Japanese Seaweed...mmm are AMAZING. It's the only thing saving my skin from being itched right off in this dry winter weather. But enough about my epidermal issues...

Andrea sent these pictures in aaaaaages ago before we demanded bios but I do remember her telling me that her children LOVED these dogs and especially loved taking pictures of them.  So thank you DeLuca kids for the pictures. We'll be dropping off some Lucky Dog Biscuits for Bohdi and Kali and lord knows picking up something special for us!

CHARLOTTE EATON!! "Charlotte can be found on the couch most days, curled into a dogball or stretched out as long as she can get so no cats try to encroach on her. If she had her choice she'd be an indoor dog only, and as it is she refuses to go out when Mother Nature is playing mean tricks on her (rain, snow, wind, dark, you get the idea). Charlotte eschews all leash walking unless it leads her into a car to go for a ride.

My husband and I adopted Charlotte from the Humane Society in December of 2000. She was 10 weeks old. We'd been looking for months for just the right dog and as soon as we laid eyes on her we knew. In the visitation room Charlotte immediately climbed into my lap and went to sleep, absolutely secure.

She begrudgingly shares the home with six cat sisters and a cat brother, and accepts that her mom's other favorite animals are rats. In fact, don't tell anyone, but when there are no cats around, she actually likes the rats. She has developed a game she plays with some of them, and all parties enjoy it.

Charlotte is absolutely the most affectionate, devoted dog I've ever had the privilege to live with. She is completely devoted to me (my husband's ok too.. but he's no MOM) and when I am sick or when I was recovering from surgery last spring, she won't leave my side. She sleeps under the covers in bed with us, and she will absolutely not budge from the bed until I get up. Even then, sometimes she holds out hope that I'll come back and refuses to get up anyway.

Charlotte's been my best and closest friend for seven years, and I hope to have many more with such a special girl."

Oooo Charlotte, you're a dog after my own heart, especially on those chilly days when all you want to do is hang on the couch ( or stay in bed late) with a cuddly dog. With think your adorable face and even more adorable disposition disposition deserves a dose of Lucky Dog Biscuits. Please forward us your snail mail addy and we're on it!

Flash, Ollie and Katie Ladyman!! "Hi! My name is Brooke and these little munchkins are mine.  The this picture is from the Wpg Humane Society pics with Santa Paws last year.  From left to right is Flash, Ollie and Katie. I adopted both Flash and Katie from a rescue organization called Canadian Chihuahua Rescue and Transport.   Katie was 3 when I got her and is now 9, Flash was 16 when I adopted her and sadly passed away at age 19 in May.  But I was lucky to have 3 great years with her.  She was the fiercest blind, toothless 3 lb dog ever! She was even known to chase the neighbour's german shepherd out of our yard at the cottage!  Ollie is almost 2 now and I adopted him from someone who brought him back from Mexico and then wasn't able to keep him.  I think Ollie is keeping Katie young as they love to play all the time. "

Butters makes nice with Lucky Dog

Butters Correa, you are one cute kid. It looks like you may have substituted Lucky Dog Biscuits for your favorite stuffy to snuggle with...or you're just trying to snort them right through the box! Either way, we're glad that your glad to have them.
